A local based long-standing real estate firm in the Tacoma area was in need of a logo revamp. After years of being in business, and a logo introduction in the early 1980’s when the name of the firm was revised, the logo has stayed the same throughout production of all materials. With a transition of leadership happening over the next few years some branding was needed.
Taking the original logo I was able to simplify the overall mark by pulling out the drop shadow, moving the establishment date up onto the same line as the description of the organization, and dropping the LLC. This also eliminated the heaviness of having three lines in the logo. We also updated the format for the logo so that it’s usage will be clear across all platforms. Prior to this the logo was pixelating as it had been created in MS Word years ago and wasn’t in a professional format.
The client had a menagerie of in-house and professionally created materials from over the years. After discussing their basic needs I was able to create a cohesive look across the board for the brand to build upon. Using the updated logo and color palette we were able to refine their long-term vision and created something that was professional, clean and descriptive for their ideal client.
